The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has given Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDC) 60 days within which to show reasons why its license should not be withdrawn.
NERC in a statement, said the 60 days became necessary sequel to the failure of KAEDC’s management and investors to address concerns about the financial sustainability and systemic risk that it poses to the electricity market.
