The Nigerian Extractive Industry Initiative (NEITI) has demanded immediate audit of NDDC accounts over N2.42 trillion spent on capital projects in two years.
Speaking during the unveiling of the 2020-2021 FASD report, NEITI Executive Secretary, Dr Orji Ogbonnaya Orji, said the huge spending by the agency causes a great concern as all the capital projects executed by the agency were tagged emergency.

“This calls for a grave concern and needs to urgently audit these projects. From our findings, some of these projects are not on ground or about to commence and funds had been disbursed since 2021 and 2022”
