A team from the World Bank led by the Country Director for Nigeria and Central Africa Mr. Ashish Khanne, on Monday, met with the Management of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) led by the MD/CEO, Engr. Sule Abdulaziz to discuss areas of assistance in the SCADA implementation, execution of the NCC and SNCC projects, including the ERP among others.
Recalled that last week, Nigeria recorded grid collapses a number of times caused by fire incidents from its substations in Kebbi state.
The Country Director commended TCN for completing all the NETAP projects last year and committed to working closely with the company to strengthen the national grid.
