NAPTIN holds three weeks orientation for graduates’ engineers in Kaduna

The National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) held a three- week orientation training program for Batch B of NAPTIN Graduates Skills Development Programme (NGSDP) for Kaduna indigenes. 

The 24- Member trainees were sponsored by the Kaduna state government.

The NGSDP, is a one year pupillage training programme aims at providing the required skills for graduates of Electrical/Mechanical engineers to enable them be absorbed into the Nigeria’s Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).

It also aimed at bridging the gap between academic qualifications and skills required to operate on the power network. 

The Regional Manager, NAPTIN Regional Training Centre Kaduna,   Engr. A. Saleh, commended the Kaduna state government for investing in human capital and advised the trainees to make best use of the opportunity. 

The trainees who are presently on the field work will resume second phase of class room training on the January 30, 2023.
