Seplat Energy Plc chairman, Udoma Udo Udoma, has said that the first gas from the newly commissioned ANOH Gas Processing Plant is expected in the third quarter of 2024.
The oil company had in December last year, announced that the project was mechanically completed.
The first phase, which was commissioned on Wednesday by the Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, has a processing capacity of 300 million standard cubic feet per day, with the facility expected to deliver dry gas, condensate and LPG to customers. It is targeting the domestic market for the gas and LPG and the international market for the condensates.

Speaking at the company’s 11th annual general meeting in Lagos on Thursday, Udoma said: “The first gas from ANOH gas plant is expected in the 3 quarter of the year”
On the acquisition of Mobil’s onshore assets, Udoma explained that Seplat Energy is engaging NNPC Limited on the completion of deal
“We are currently engaging NNPCL on the Mobil’s assets’ acquisition and the engagement has been fruitful”
