Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Oil, Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri has expressed Nigeria’s readiness for the launch of Africa Energy Bank in September ending.
The Minister stated this when he received the Secretary General of the African Petroleum Producers Organization (APPO), Omar Farouk Ibrahim in Abuja.
Ibrahim had paid a visit to Lokpobiri over the forthcoming launch of the Africa Energy Bank (AEB) by the end of September 2024.
The Minister in his X account said: “I reassured him that we are diligently working on all critical aspects, including the structural framework and necessary documentation, to ensure we meet the commencement target by end of September 2024.
