The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) data has revealed that fuel consumption in the country dropped by 16.42 in the month of June as Lagos state remains the highest consuming state with a total of 205,664,228 liters.
The NMDPRA said in its submission to the FAAC, the country consumed a total of 1,478,316,745 billion liters of petrol in June against 1,768,812,804.
This 290,496,059 difference amounts to a 16.42 percent decrease.
This however, translates to a daily average of 48,025,604 litres consumption. Ogun state and FCT trailed behind Lagos with 88,686,299 and 77,507,001 million liters respectively.
