According to her, the way to effectively put an end to the lingering issue of fuel scarcity is through a free market. She explained that ” the easiest way to ensure uninterrupted supply of fuel is through a free market…a free market economy. This will be achieved with a full deregulation of the petroleum downstream sector “, she added.
She also stressed the need for Nigeria to increase her crude oil production saying it is the major source of revenue to the federal government.
In her final word, she called on all stakeholders to cooperate with the federal government in finding solutions to the economic challenges facing the country. ” Let us stop complaining, let’s join hands, bring our skills, competencies and time. This way we can find solution our problems together. Government can’t do it alone “.
