.Organisms urge stakeholders to submit final entries as nominations surge across Nigeria’s energy sector
Nominations for the prestigious ENERGY TIMES 2026 Awards will close on September 20, 2026, as the number of entries received by the organisers has climbed to 122, reflecting growing interest in the annual recognition of excellence across Nigeria’s energy industry.
The awards, organised by ENERGY TIMES, are designed to recognise individuals, companies, institutions and organisations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, investment, professionalism and measurable impact across the oil and gas, power, renewable energy and broader energy value chain.With the nomination deadline fast approaching, the organisers have urged industry stakeholders who are yet to submit their entries to take advantage of the remaining window.
The rising number of nominations, according to the organisers, underscores the growing profile of the ENERGY TIMES’ Awards has become a platform for celebrating individuals and organisations, contributing to the transformation and development of Nigeria’s energy sector.

According to him, all nominations will be subjected to a rigorous assessment process by the relevant awards committees before the final list of winners is announced.

The organisers therefore called on oil and gas companies, power sector operators, renewable energy firms, government agencies, regulators, professional bodies, investors and other industry stakeholders to submit their final nominations before the August 20 deadline.
