The Managing Director of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, Yusuf Usman Yahaya, has tendered his resignation today, a credible source revealed
This comes through an internal memo addressed indicating Yahaya’s decision to part ways with the company.
Nearly two years ago, Yahaya took up the position of MD/CEO to transform Kaduna Electric. The appointment coincided with an intervention by key stakeholders, including the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and lenders such as the African Export-Import Bank and Fidelity Bank. The intervention, originally intended for six months, was extended due to unforeseen challenges and persistently difficult circumstances.
